Since the first Festival de Pollença, held in 1962 at the initiative of the famous English violinist Philip Newman, more than 800 first-rate artists have performed their music in the Cloister of Sant Domingo de Pollença: a beautiful historical site of great beauty and excellent acoustics that allows to enjoy music under the starry sky.
The 63rd Pollença Festival continues with the tradition of this unmissable event for the citizens of Pollença and the people who visit our town in August.
The City Council of Pollença, has wanted to continue promoting in an important way its Festival, which proudly celebrates its 63rd edition this year 2024, and can also boast of continuing to be one of the most remarkable festivals of the summer panorama of our country, cultural reference and unavoidable appointment for all the people who love these musical encounters of first level, that find in the town of Pollença more than a magnificent offer of beach and sun.
